Our Impact
We work hard every day to transform lives through the Roots to Wings Uganda project — supporting vulnerable children, empowering communities, and creating sustainable futures. Housing the Homeless
Building Homes
This safe and loving home currently shelters 61 children and 3 dedicated caretakers. Through the Roots to Wings Uganda project, we’re working to build more secure, sustainable housing — creating stable foundations where children can grow, thrive, and dream of a brighter future.

Community and Education
Community and Education
Through the Roots to Wings Uganda project, we support our wider community by offering access to education, basic healthcare, and emergency aid when families need it most. Whether it’s school supplies, medical support, or stepping in during a crisis, we give what we can, when we can — because every child and every family matters.

Welcome
From Our Heart to Yours
God in Action Uganda is an orphanage and community relief organisation based in Bugiri, Uganda.

We provide a loving family environment, support children in accessing education, meeting their basic needs, and gaining essential life skills.

In 2025, we proudly launched our new strategy — Roots to Wings Uganda — a bold step forward on our journey to self-sustainability and long-term impact.

Our focus is on three core pillars:
-
Building Homes – Creating safe, permanent housing for children and caregivers
-
Sustainable Farming – Growing our own food and raising livestock to feed the community and generate income
-
Community and Education – Expanding access to education, vocational training, and emergency family support

Today, we support over 100 children and elderly individuals.
Together, we can build brighter futures — one home, one harvest, one child at a time.
