Welcome
From Our Heart to Yours
God in Action Uganda is an orphanage and community relief organization located in Bugiri, Uganda.
We provide a loving family, help children attain education, basic needs, and attain important skills in life.
In 2024, we hit our second milestone on our journey to being self-sustainable!
Join us in supporting over 100 children and the elderly in our community. Any help that you can offer will be appreciated.
We're Growing Our Impact!
Thanks to a live fundraiser hosted by Pete Cohen and Christopher Connors of CoCo's Foundation in the UK, we've been making significant strides. In November 2021, God in Action purchased 5 acres of farmland entirely through donated funds, setting the foundation for a future of change and growth.
On July 10, 2024, our farming capabilities received a major boost with the acquisition of a new tractor, made possible by partial donations and the generous support of New Holland, CNH, and The Cooper Motors Uganda. This vital addition enhances our productivity and supports the expansion of our agricultural projects.
Our next ambitious project involves building dormitories to provide a safe, nurturing home for our children, ensuring stability and enhancing their well-being.

Our Impact
We work hard every day to better the lives of our children and elders — including Feeding the Hungry, Housing the Homeless, and Community Outreach. Learn more about our efforts and how working together can make a lasting impact!
Feeding the Hungry
We normally purchase corn flour, rice, beans, cassava flour, fresh cassava, fruits, and vegetables.
Housing the Homeless
This building is home to 61 children and 3 caretakers.
Community Relief
We give what we can, when we can to those in need in our community; including medical attention and help with family emergencies.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
